Katie Crutchfield aka Waxahatchee looks to continue her notable rise after an awesome 2012 with her lo-fi acoustic heartbreaker American Weekend. News broke today that Waxahatchee’s new album Cerulean Salt will be out 3/5 and we’ve got a new song to boot. Looks like she’s traded in her lo-fi tape recording aesthetic in favor of some slow blooming balladry which is just as affecting.
