Video: Manchester Orchestra on Jimmy Fallon

June 11th, 2009 · No Comments · manchester orchestra

Last night, Manchester Orchestra stopped by Fallon for their second late night appearance in support of Mean Everything to Nothing. I had work early, so I had to catch it belatedly.   A few notes.

I was hoping they’d play something other than “I’ve Got Friends”.  I know it’s their lead single, but I think “Shake it Out” “In My Teeth” or even “Pride” would transpose onto the big screen nicely.

If I could grow half the facial hair Andy Hull can, I would be twice the man

I’ve never seen a bands keyboardist get so much face time on a late night performance.  Props to Chris for being awesome enough to pull that off.

You can view their previous performance on Letterman from 4/29 here.
