strokes frontman julian casablancas, who previously reported the bands newest full-length would be out in late fall, recently gave an interview to the BBC network in which he states fans will have to wait until the early part of next year. although no official date is announced, casablancas says the album is about halfway done and that they are hoping to get it out by march 2011. hit the audio below for a 2 minute clip from the said interview and cross your fingers these guys don’t self-implode before they get this thing done.
