For those of you not already aware, Mindy White (former co-vocalist of Lydia) launched a new project last year. States released a solid piano-rock infused EP reminiscent of other female vocalist led groups around the scene (a la Eisley and Now, Now. After disappearing for a few months, States announced their debut full-length Room To Run, out October 18th.

Today the band released the first taste of that LP. Honestly, “Timebomb” doesn’t do much to separate White and co. from the slew of other bands making similar noise, but after falling in love with her during her time in Lydia i’m holdin on to hope that I’ll still dig the rest of it. Have a go
