Fewer band’s play a dynamic blend of heart-on-sleeve folk rock with more balls than Two Gallants. Look no further then “Fail Hard to Regain” off of the band’s debut The Throes for proof. Listening to Two Gallants, it’s hard to believe that the band are compromised as a mere two piece featuring drummer Tyson Vogel and Adam Stephens who covers guitar, harmonica and vocal duties.
“Fail Hard to Regain” is arguably the strongest track off of the 9 song LP, featuring witty and honest lyricism backed by frantic guitar work and skillfull harmonica that makes Two Gallants somewhat of a unique act in today’s muddled scene. The band have a skill and penchant for quality songwriting that makes them truly stand alone.

on a sidenote, Adam Stephens is currently working on his debut solo-album, so also keep an eye out for that.
if you dig the track, go pick up the album. trust me, it’s just as good
