Sigur Ros frontman Jón Þór Birgisson is apparently working on a solo album entitled Go. In the interim, he’s released a new song under his solo moniker Jónsi. Check it out and you’ll notice Jónsi’s otherworldly and distinct vocals coming through…in english.
It looks like the new album is entitled Go though it probably won’t be released till well into 2010. You can follow along and get updates from the man himself at his fresh site here

I love sigur ros, and jonsi also, i like Jonsi and Alex’s album Rice Boy sleeps, and ive downloaded this free track off the site, really looking forward to the solo album, also looking forward to Sigur Ros’s next album, which apparently is being released in 2010 too, good year for music!
