Last week I posted Pacific UV’s dreamy cover of The Smiths classic “Please Please Please”. Today the band followed up on that with details on their forthcoming full-length.
Weekends will be released January 31st via Mazarine Records. That’s the artwork above. The band have also premiered the first song from the new record. “Funny Girl” is a departure from the euphoric ambient shoegaze these guys have been known for. The tune instead takes a dive directly into some heavy 80′s synth-pop glorification. Stream it below
