In anticipation for Julian Casablancas’s solo debut Phrazes For The Young (due out tomorrow) here’s a new track Glass. While I honestly wasn’t immediately floored on my first few listens through Phrazes, it’s safe to say that once you’ve peeled back it’s many layers, it is an experience to behold.

“Glass” is no exception, playing largely through a wall of vintage electronics, Casablancas not only leads the track with his vintage croon, but pushes the petal past its breaking point, vocally hitting notes I previously didn’t think he was capable of.
