it’s been a long while since we’ve heard anything from rilo kiley until today… in a recent interview with drummer jason boesel, he stated that while the band is still on a “hiatus of sorts” they are planning on putting out a b-side compilation with hopes for it to be out later this year.

meanwhile, it looks like we’ll be getting another offering from jenny lewis-gone-solo as she’s currently putting together her third full-length with boyfriend johnathan rice. i thought this would be a nice opportunity to revisit two of my favorite tracks from each outfit. thanks to paste for the heads up. dig the cuts below
