sorry, i’m late. once in a while, there comes along an album that is so ridiculously good that it ignites a wave of hype that is hard to ignore for any of you out there that eagerly check through your blog readers every day. such was my experience with the morning benders new album big echo. after reading through more hyped up posts on this band than i can remember, i finally gave em a go. big echo which was produced by grizzly bear multi-instrumentalist chris taylor, features some of the most enjoyable and original pop songs i’ve heard in a long time. check the albums leading track “excuses” for proof and get on the hype train before it leaves without you.
