a few months back when miniature tigers trekked into my neighborhood with the morning benders i was lucky enough to catch a preview of a good chunk of their new album fortress. “lolita” which is the albums second to last song was easily the standout of their set, building over an animal collective-esque vocal backdrop and one of the catchiest chorus’s on the disc. luckily enough, i’ve got my hands on a copy of the album and was pleased to hear that the studio version was just as good.
