This weekend I experienced the great fortune of stumbling across Freelance Whales. The five-piece soon to be indie-pop sensation may very well have recorded one of the most intricately catchy and intensely addicting albums of the year, for I haven’t been listening to much else since I got it. Their debut full length Weathervanes clocks in at 45 minutes, with 13 tracks of unadulterated smart and flawless songcraft.
