I always get slightly annoyed walking through store in mid september and seeing isles already laid out with Christmas Decor. I’m not gonna lie and say that the prematurity of She & Him’s new Christmas album irks me any less. The band will be releasing A Very She & Him Christmas in OCTOBER for god sakes. In anticipation, they’ve put out the first preview from it, featuring the soft-spoken and adorable croon of Zooey Deschanel (get bent Ben.) in “The Christmas Waltz”.

I’m all for hearing new music from the duo sooner rather than later, but honestly, why couldn’t this one wait another few weeks?

my apologies for being a little bit late to the party on this time. i’ve honestly ignored everything about the “she & him” duo of m.ward and zooey deschanel up until this past weekend. now im banging my head on my desk to the beat of volume. II and will be paying a visit to volume 1 here shortly.

in the meantime enjoy all the cuteness that is zooey deschanel in the video for the albums second single “thieves”. damn you ben gibbard, damn you.
