This past Monday, Panda Bear released his deluxe reissue of this year’s Tomboy. Today the A Capella version of the albums lead track “You Can Count On Me” is making it’s rounds on the internet. The release is limited to 5,000 copies and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. You can grab a copy over here.

Panda Bear Announces New Single

Panda Bear will release a new single from the forthcoming Tomboy. The Surfers Hymn 7″ will drop March 15th with a remix of the track as the b-side. Preview a live version of the cut below. Tomboy drops April 12th.

I’ve been pretty underwhelmed by everything I’ve heard from Panda Bears camp leading up to this point, but this rerecorded version of “Late Night At The Jetty” is a slow and accessible jammer. The track is the same one released late last year, only rerecorded for his sophomore full-length Tomboy, which is looking pretty promising right now.
