port o’brien’s threadbare is quickly becoming one of my favorite albums released in 09 that i didn’t discover till ’10. you should already know how big i am on these guys after doin the lovely intro early last month, and then droppin them on my january mix (you can find that here)

daytrotter continues their impeccable ability to session with the scenes top up and coming talent as they recently invited port o’brien to get it done. check it out here

i don’t think it’s necessary for me to go over how ridiculously awesome daytrotter is again, you know what’s good. i’d be lying if i said that i haven’t been spinning a shit load of why? recently, so this one comes at just the right time.

Tim covers The Cure’s “Lovecats” , David Bowie’s “Modern Love” and spins renditions of Mama, I’m Swollen’s standout track “What Have I Done?” as well as Domestica’s “The Casualty”. Miniature Tigers stopped by Daytrotter Sessions yesterday to play some songs. The band played the title track and “Dino Damage” from their debut full-length “Tell It To The Volcano” as well as two new songs Egyptian Robe and Dark Tower. As usual, Daytrotter doesn’t dissapoint. Go check it out.
