At this point we might actually hear Parallax piece by piece instead of all at once. Atlas Sound released another slow unraveler in “Flagstaff”. If the tracks Cox has been leaking are any indication of what to expect, it won’t be the casual pop anthems that were on most of Logos. No, this is an entire different kind of beast. Atlas Sound Announces New Album + New Song

Bradford Cox is back. Whether we’re talking Atlas Sound or Deerhunter the magnitude of this guy’s output is ridiculous. For now, we’re talking about Cox’s solo project under which he will be releasing a new album entitled Parallax. The new record comes out November 8th and that’s the artwork above. I know “prolific” is a grossly overused term, but I think it’s probably appropriate here.
