It’s always right around late October / early November when Digital Ash In a Digital Urn becomes a mainstay on my playlist. There’s something about the dazed out synth-heavy songs that make it the perfect winter album. Digital Ash was originally released in January of 2005 along with O’berst’s critically acclaimed I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning. Many see Digital Ash as a misstep in O’bersts catalog, but over time it’s become my favorite full-length released by the Bright Eyes moniker. Check it out below.
