Monsters of Folk just finished up their US and Europe tour dates. If you were like me, and didn’t live anywhere near any of the scheduled dates, here’s a bootleg of the show in Philadelphia, PA. Featuring 31 songs, the band not only played songs off of their self-titled debut, but did an assortment of covers from each band’s solo projects, re-imagined.
If your a fan of any of the trio’s work, get on this. Oberst and M. Ward’s rendition of Bright Eyes classic “Kathy with a K” is terrific, as is the rest of the set.
special thanks go out to mi amigo eddy for the heads up on this one.

I saw their London show, and it was fantastic — particularly, as you said, Kathy with a K’s Song!
Thanks for the link.

Agh, your lucky. Glad to see it’s a normal part of the set. Definitely it’s stand out in my opinion.
